Stones pelted at India's fastest train Vande Bharat Express

Agra, Feb 20 (IBNS): Unidentified miscreants on Wednesday pelted stones at the newly launched Vande Bharat Express while it was on its way to Varanasi, media reports said.

This is the second such incident since its launch last week.

On Wednesday, the stone pelting resulted in the damage of a window pane.

No passenger was injured in the incident.

The incident took place around 8 am on Wednesday morning near Hirangaon railway station (Firozabad) in Tundla police limits.

The local police is investigating the matter.

Earlier, the train was attacked near Sadar of Delhi's Lahori where a window pane of the the second coach was damaged.

Vande Bharat Express was flagged off from Delhi by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday.
