Islamabad Court suspends Lakhvi's detent New Delhi, Dec 29 (ANI): Islamabad Court has suspended the detention of 26/11 Mumbai attacks accused Zaki ur Rehman Lakhvi, reportedly granting him bail. This has invited political reactions questioning the aim of Pakistan to fight against terror. Experts react over Lakhvi's detention su New Delhi, Dec 29 (ANI): Security Experts on Monday reacted over suspension of Zaki ur Rehman Lakhvi's detention by Islamabad Court. Alok Bansal said that Pakistan has failed to show that it is against terror. Praful Bakshi said that it was a ruling given by the Court so it cannot be questioned but added that the Indian government needs to take all precautionary measures in context of terror activities. Bengaluru Blast: Rajnath says Centre rea New Delhi, Dec 29 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh condemned the low intensity blast that took place in Bengaluru last night. Singh asked state authorities to install closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras in the entire city in the wake of the blast. Singh held a high level meeting with top officials of intelligence agencies to review security measures following the low intensity explosion in the high-tech capital. Finance Minister Jaitley rejects Raghura New Delhi, Dec 29 (ANI): Rejecting Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Raghuram Rajan's criticism on 'Make in India' programme, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Monday said that it is about manufacturing of quality products at low cost, whether they are sold in India or abroad. The minister in his inaugural address of a national workshop on 'Make in India' further said manufacturing remains a challenge for country's economy and cost of capital has been the major factor behind slowed down manufacturing. Emphasizing on manufacturing of quality products at low costs, Jaitley said it was not relevant whether they are sold in India or abroad. Chalking out the ways to open up the roads for manufacturers, Jaitley said the entry point into manufacturing sector needs to be eased and that if we keep doors closed, investments won't come in. There should be an ease of doing business in India. Earlier this month, RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan had criticised 'Make in India' campaign, saying it assumes an export-led growth path of China and it should rather be 'Make for India' with a focus on manufacturing products for the domestic market. 29-Dec-2014

The low intensity IED (Improvised Explosive Device) bomb had exploded on Church Street in Bengaluru killing one and leaving three injured.The blast had occurred around 8:30 pm outside Coconut Grove restaurant on Church Street. Vada curry gravy Vada curry Ingredients For vada Chana dal - 1 cup Salt to taste A litttle Water (If required) Oil for frying For curry Oil - 1 tbsp Onion - 3 chopped Green chilli - 2 thinly sliced Fennel seeds- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon stick, Cloves, Bay leaf & Cardamom Garlic - 6 to 7 cloves chopped Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Sambar powder - 2 tsp Salt to taste A few Chopped Coriander leaves A few Curry leaves Method: 1. Soak the Channa dal for 3 hours & drain the water. 2. In a mixer jar add soaked channa dal, salt, a little water & grind into a coarse mixture. 3. Flatten coarse mixture & deep fry it & keep aside. 4. Next step is making the curry, In a deep pan add oil, cinnamon stick, cloves, bay leaf, cardamom, fennel seeds, onion, green chilli, garlic, curry leaves & saute it for a few minutes. 5. Add turmeric powder, sambar powder, salt & mix it. 6. Now its time to add fried vada by breaking it. Pour enough water & cook it for about 15 to 20 minutes in a medium flame. 7. Boil until the vadas gets soft and gets absorbed well in the gravy. Stir in such a way to mash it if needed to get a thick curry. Garnish with coriander leaves and curry leaves. 8. Prime Minister Modi took to twitter for extending his wishes. "Tributes to Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya on his birth anniversary. A man ahead of his time, he devoted himself to nationalism and education," tweeted Prime Minister Modi. Respectfully addressed as 'Mahamana', he was an educationist and politician notable for his role in the independence movement and his espousal of Hindu nationalism. Malaviya is most remembered as the founder of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) at Varanasi in 1916, the largest residential university in Asia and one of the largest in the world. He also served as the Vice Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University from 1919-1938. Malaviya had held the position of President of the Indian National Congress on four occasions, 1909, 1913, 1919 and 1932. He left congress in 1934.
