'Narbhakshi' has finally gone mad: Lalu Patna, Oct 30 (ANI): Lashing out at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah for his statement that 'Pakistan will celebrate if the mahagathbandhan wins in Bihar', Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav on Friday said that the 'narbhakshi' (cannibal) (Shah) has finally gone around the bend and in doing so, has yet against insulted Bihar. Lalu said that BJP's 'narbhakshi' (cannibal) Amit Shah finally went mad he said in a speech yesterday that Pakistan will celebrate when the mahagathbandhan wins the Assembly elections and once again he has managed to insult the people of Bihar but this time it has gone below the belt. He added that the RJD delegation led by party spokesperson Manoj Jha will go to the Election Commission today to protest against Shah's speech and will demand that strict action be taken against him. Addresing a rally in Raxaul yesterday, Shah said that if the BJP loses in Bihar by mistake, then but crackers will be burst in Pakistan in celebrations. The BJP had also placed front-page advertisements in local newspapers targeting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's government for going 'soft on terrorists' and not taking strict action at the time of arrest of Indian Mujahideen leader Yasin Bhatkal. Shiv Sena MP justifies 'abusing' tehsild Aurangabad, Oct 30 (ANI): Shiv Sena's Aurangabad MP Chandrakant Khaire who roughed up and abused a civic official yesterday for demolishing a temple, in a bizarre justification said that if he had not hurled those abuses at the moment, the angry mob would have killed the official for sure. Justifying his remarks, Khaire said that the Hindus will not stand back and watch temples get demolished. Training his guns on the police, Khaire further said that it was conspiracy by them against the Hindu temples in the state. Earlier, civic official Ramesh Mundlod who based on high court orders, lead a demolition drive including that of illegal temples in a suburb of Aurangabad, was later abused and roughed up publically by Khaire. With the crowd growing around the official's car, Khaire launched into an angry tirade, calling him 'Aurangzeb's progeny' and asked him why he was not demolishing 'Muslim buildings' instead while showering a litany of abuses. 30-Oct-2015
Pak will celebrate if BJP loses in Bihar Raxaul, Oct 30 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah said that celebrations will break out in Pakistan if his party loses the Bihar Assembly polls. He said that while addressing a rally in Raxaul. Further taking a jibe at Nitish Kumar, the BJP President said that the Bihar Chief Minister was carrying the burden of RJD chief Lalu Yadav and the Congress of 'jungle raj' and corruption respectively. Polling for the third phase of the Assembly elections was held yesterday across 50 assembly seats spread over six districts. The voting for the first two phases were held on October 12 and October 16, during which 81 assembly constituencies went to polls. The fourth and fifth phase of polling is due on November 1 and November 5 respectively. Akhilesh meets Naveen Patnaik, lauds Odh Bhubaneswar, Oct 30 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav met Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the state secretariat in Bhubaneswar. Yadav lauded Odisha government's public welfare schemes and also invited Patnaik to visit Lucknow. Pakistan and Iran vow to combat terroris Islamabad, Oct 30 (ANI): Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani, Secretary Supreme National Security Council of Iran, who is on a two-days' official visit to Pakistan, called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at the Prime Minister's house. PM Office sources said Sharif told Shamkhani that Pakistan and Iran are brotherly countries and share deep historic and cultural ties. "He added that Chabahar and Gawadar ports shall be sister ports and their operational activity shall complement each other," a statement from the PM Office said. Shamkhani, lauding Pakistan's efforts towards the fight against terrorism, said that terrorism has no boundaries and it is a common enemy of both the countries. Later, Shamkhani called on Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan along with his delegation. "Our relationship, said the Interior Minister, draws its strength from our shared values, commonality of faith, shared borders and most importantly our shared concerns regarding regional peace, stability and development," the statement said. 30-Oct-2015
President hosts banquet for African lead New Delhi, Oct 30 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee hosted a banquet for African leaders at the conclusion of the four-day-long India-Africa Forum Summit 2015. The presidential palace in New Delhi was lit up with beautiful coloured lights to welcome the guests. Mukherjee was confident that the summit was a success. He also maintained that African Union's response is a clear affirmation that this is the right format for India and Africa to meet. Stating that India and Africa would give high priority to increase trade and investment flows between them, the Prime Minister said that the country will facilitate Africa's access to the Indian market and will ensure full and effective implementation of the duty-free access extended to 34 countries. Anupam Kher slams filmmakers for returni Mumbai, Oct 30 (ANI): Slamming the filmmakers who returned their National Awards over growing intolerance in the country, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher said that they should celebrate awards as they have got it because a lot of people have put faith in them. Kher also accused those returning the awards of doing so with an 'agenda'. The actor said that there is no threat to either democracy or freedom of expression in the country. He also lashed out at director Dibakar Banerjee, who had returned his national award for the movie 'Khosla ka Ghosla', saying that he had got the award because of the collective efforts of the actors in the film. CBI begins probe in Ballabhgarh Dalit ki Ballabhgarh, Oct 30 (ANI): A team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) reached the Ballabhgarh village in Haryana where two children were burnt alive in an alleged case of caste violence earlier this month. While police have arrested four people, CBI has registered a case of murder against 11 people in connection with the case. The CBI sleuths collected forensic evidence from the crime scene and spoke to the father of the children who, along with his wife, sustained burn injuries in the incident. 30-Oct-2015

Tripura buses join Kolkata-Dhaka-Agartal Tripura, Oct 30 (ANI): A 45-seater luxury bus, carrying 18 passengers, including two Canadians, left for Kolkata via Dhaka on October 16. Six of the passengers were bound for Kolkata and 12 for Bangladesh. Flagged off by Tripura Transport Minister Manik Dey, the buses are scheduled to ply twice a week. The fare ranges between Rs. 1,800 to Rs. 2,000. The distance between Kolkata and Agartala, which is about 1,650 km if one skirts Bangladesh? But the distance falls to 515 km if the buses go through Dhaka. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina jointly flagged off the Kolkata-Dhaka-Agartala bus services during Modi's visit to Bangladesh on June 6. The people are happy with the start of service. The government is laying more emphasis on improving connectivity in the Northeast, a land-locked region.
