Akhilesh drops eight ministers from cabi New Delhi/ Lucknow, Oct 29 (ANI): Mixed reactions poured in after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday dropped eight ministers from his cabinet and took away the portfolios of nine ministers ahead of the proposed cabinet reshuffle on October 31. On the recommendation of the Chief Minister, Governor Ram Naik removed the eight ministers, including five cabinet ministers and three ministers of state. The five sacked cabinet ministers are Raja Mahendra Aridaman Singh, Ambika Chaudhary, Shiv Kumar Beria, Narad Rai and Shivakant Ojha, while the three ministers of state are Alok Kumar Shakya, Yogesh Pratap Singh and Bhagwat Sharan Gangwar. The nine ministers whose portfolios were taken away are Ahmad Hasan, Awadhesh Prasad, Paras Nath Yadav, Ram Govind Chaudhary, Durga Prasad Yadav, Brahma Shankar Tripathi, Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, Iqbal Mehmood and Mahboob Ali. The Governor allocated the portfolios of the removed ministers to the Chief Minister. The new ministers are expected to be sworn in by the Governor on October 31. 29-Oct-2015
Tiger enters in Bhopal's Central Institu Bhopal, Oct 29 (ANI): A tiger that had accidently entered the premises of Central Institute of Agriculture Engineering on the outskirts of Bhopal on Thursday morning was rescued by the forest department officials, later in the day. The big cat was first spotted around 5.45 am. Reportedly, when the locals raised alarm the tiger jumped on the roof of a quarter in the premises. The tiger was tranquilized by the senior forest officials to ensure safety of the animal and people who had gathered in thousands outside the institute. 29-Oct-2015

Graves of 87 WWI heroes from Manipur fou Imphal, Oct 29 (ANI): The graves of 87 people belonging to Manipur, who took part in World War I as members of the Labour Corps, have been found in war cemeteries across Europe, Egypt and Yemen. The discovery, which comes almost a century later, was undertaken by World War researcher Yumnam Rajeshwar. The Manipur Labour Corps, with strength of 2,000 people, belonging to Meiteis and tribal communities from the state, were sent to Europe by sea from Bombay in April 1917, said Rajeshwar. The researcher held a news conference in Manipur's capital city Imphal to confirm his findings. The Manipuri members of the Labour Corps were sent to the World War I after a pact was signed between the then Manipuri king, Churachand Singh and British Political Agent Lt Col HWG Cole. Satisfied with Singh's assistance, the British government honoured him with the title of Knight Commander Star of India. Rajeshwar stressed it was time the government took serious note of the matter and collect all the data of 2,000 brave hearts. Rajeshwar said his research would continue and the details of the graves have already been provided to those family members who contacted him. 29-Oct-2015

The Auto sector is up 6.70 points at 18,387.25 while the Banking sector is down 217.31 points at 19,593.99 and the Realty sector is down 5.61points at 1,390.95. A chapter in a magazine issued by the Haryana education department has cited beef as one of the best sources to enhance the body's iron absorption. Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar is the chief patron of the magazine while education minister Ram Bilas Sharma is the patron. People in Varanasi light lamps to rememb Varanasi, Oct 29 (ANI): People at holy town of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh remembered the fallen heroes of Indian Army by releasing lit lanterns to sky. Serving and retired personnel of defence and paramilitary forces also participated in the month-long ritual. Brigadier of 39 Gorkha Training Centre in Varanasi, Anil Malhotra expressed his gratitude to people from all walks of life for participating in this noble cause. Commissioner of Varasnasi, Nitin Ramesh Gokarn also participated in the ritual and lit lanterns. The lanterns were lit to honour fallen heroes who laid down their lives in the service of motherland since independence in 1947. Soldier killed in encounter with militan Bandipora, Oct 29 (ANI): A soldier was killed in a fierce gun battle with militants in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. The encounter began on Wednesday evening after a joint team of army and police launched a search operation in the Buthoo forests of the district following a tip-off. The militants opened fire at the security personnel, triggering the gun battle. Exchange of fire is still underway between the two sides. Schezwan Chicken Noodles Schezwan Chicken Noodles Ingredients Cooked Noodles - 1 packet Cooked Shredded Chicken - 100 gms Oil - 1 to 2 tbsp A few Ginger julienne A few cloves of Garlic Onion - 1 thinly sliced Green Chilli - 2 Capsicum - 1 thinly sliced Tomato - 1 deseeded & thinly sliced Spring Onion - 1 bunch Salt to taste Pepper - 1 tsp Soy sauce - 1 1/2 tsp Red Chili sauce - 2 tsp Tomato Ketchup - 2 to 3 tsp A few Coriander leaves Method: 1. Heat Oil in a wok. Add Ginger, Garlic, Onion, Green chilli, Capsicum & sauté it. 2. Then add Tomatoes, half of the chopped Spring Onions & stir fry it for few minutes. 3. Now add Pepper, Salt & stir fry it. 4. Start to add the cooked Noodles. (Tips: Use two Spatulas to evenly mix the noodle & stir fry a bit.) 5. Now add Soy sauce, Red Chilli sauce, Tomato ketchup & gently mix them all. 6. Add the remaining Spring Onions & toss it. 7. Then add the cooked Shredded Chicken & toss it with the prepared noodles. 8. Finally, garnish it with coriander leaves & serve hot with Ketchup.
