Man shoots self with country made gun at New Delhi, Oct 02 (ANI): A 22-year-old man allegedly shot himself with a country-made gun at Rajiv Chowk Metro Station. Delhi Police and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) have initiated separate probes in a major security breach that occurred at the station. The incident, which took place around 9:45 p.m. last night, raised serious concern about the security of the Delhi Metro network. CISF PRO Hemender cited structural flaw and denied security lapse. BJP leader seen showering money during G Vadodara, Oct 02 (ANI): A BJP leader in Gujarat was seen showering bucket-full of currency notes on a famous Gujarati singer at a function held in outskirts of Vadodara recently. The video showed Vadodara district's BJP president, Satish Patel, holding a plastic bucket full of currency notes that he showers on singer Kirtidan Gadhvi as he sings sitting with his legs crossed on a stage at the programme, was also attended by the state BJP general secretary Shabdsharan Brahmbhatt. It went viral online. However, the leader says it was for a good cause, to be used for the protection of cows. Teacher allegedly burns student's hands, Varanasi, Oct 02 (ANI) : A shocking incident of corporal punishment has come to light in Varanasi city of Uttar Pradesh. A student of class 2, Krishna, was punished for not completing his English home work. He told that his tuition teacher burnt his hands and feet with hot iron as his home work was not done. Krishna's mother has filed a complaint with police under Section 323. According to her, the tuition teacher has misbehaved earlier too. Unidentified men raise Islamic State fla Srinagar, Oct 02 (ANI): A group of unidentified men raised flags of banned militant outfit Islamic State (IS) and clashed with police personnel in Srinagar city of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. Men, some with their faces covered, also waived flags of lesser known militant outfit, Al-Jihad. Police used tear gas to disperse the mob which raised anti-India slogans and pelted stones at the security personnel. Flags of militant outfits like IS and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Pakistan flags have frequently been raised in the state's capital in the recent time.
