Aamir's 'Dangal' deserves to be tax free New Delhi, Nov 30 (ANI): Not just Aamir Khan, ace lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar too feels the former's upcoming film 'Dangal' deserves to be tax free. The 71-year-old lyricist took to his Twitter handle to share his thoughts and wrote, "With out beating the pulpit DANGAL is s film about women's empowerment, love for sports and national pride. Deserves to be tax free." Reportedly, the makers of the upcoming biopic film would soon apply for tax exemption. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film would see Aamir playing the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, father of wrestler Geeta Phogat. 6-year-old Kashmiri boy clinches gold at New Delhi, Nov 30 (ANI): Days after eight-year-old Tajamul Islam scripted history by becoming the first player ever from the sub-junior category to win a gold medal at the World Kickboxing Championship, another Kashmiri boy has made the country proud. Hashim Mansoor, a six-year-old boy from Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district, bagged a gold medal in the recently-held IKU Asian Karate Championship held in the national capital. He represented India in the sub-junior category in the event, which featured participants from across 19 nations. The tournament was held at the Talkatora Stadium from November 28 to 30. Nagrota attack: Family members, villager Batala/Nanded/ Dholpur, Nov 30 (ANI): Family members and villagers of soldiers, who lost their lives in the Nagrota encounter yesterday, mourned the death of their loves ones. Slain soldiers Lance Naik Kadam Sambhaji Yeshwantro (32), Havildar Sukhraj Singh (32) and 28-year-old Grenadier Raghvendra Singh, hailed from Maharashtra's Nanded, Punjab's Batala and Rajasthan's Dholpur area, respectively. At least seven army personnel, including two officers, were killed in the encounter while three terrorists were also gunned down. 12 hostages, including two children and two ladies, were also rescued. Three AK-47 rifles, over 450 bullets, 12 grenades and 20 magazines were recovered from the terrorists. 30-Nov-2016

NCP meet takes violent turn as shots fir Mumbai, Nov 30 (ANI): An argument between two National Congress Party's (NCP) members turned into an ugly scuffle, when unknown person allegedly fired rounds during the clash, in which at least six people were seriously injured. Reportedly, the incident took place at an internal meeting organized by NCP. While party leader, Nawab Malik was addressing the gathering, another leader, Sanjay Dina Patil's men reportedly entered the premises forcibly and created a chaos. This led to an argument between the two leaders and their supporters. Malik alleged that Patil's bodyguards fired two rounds to scare him, the latter alleged that Malik's men first attacked him with swords, following which his bodyguards fired two rounds in the air.An investigation has been launched in the matter. 30-Nov-2016
Billionaire for a day! Bank accidentally Barnala, Nov 30 (ANI): It was the most fortunate day of a taxi driver's life from Punjab, when he became a billionaire, although for a day or so. The incident was a clerical error which forced the bank and income tax authorities to launch a probe in the matter. A sum of Rs 98,05,95,12,231 had been credited into Balwinder Singh's State Bank of Patiala (SBoP) account. That's a little less than Rs 9,806 crore! Or, a little over Rs 98 billion. While passing a credit entry of Rs 200, an assistant manager (accounts) wrongly inserted the bank's 11-digit internal Banking General Ledger account number in the amount column, however, the money was debited from Singh's account the next day. 30-Nov-2016
