4 awarded life imprisonment in BJD leade Titlagarh (Odisha), July 29 (ANI): The 4 accused, in the high-profile murder case of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) state youth general secretary Abhimanyu Sahu, have been sentenced to life imprisonment. The order was given by a local court in Titlagarh on Friday. The four accused namely, Alok Das, Santosh Rana, Jagdish Bag and Naresh Singh have also been charged with a penalty of Rs. 20,000. Jain temple raises funds for flood-victi Surat (Gujarat), July 29 (ANI): A Jain temple in Gujarat has raised fund to help flood victims in the province. Floods and relentless rain in Gujarat have killed at least 75 people and displaced over 25,000 in the past three weeks. Several women donated their gold ornaments to raise money for the flood-victims. The rising water level in Sabarmati River has now entered the nearby villages affecting normal life. Exiled Tibetans observe World Hepatitis Dharamsala, July 29 (ANI): The health department of the Tibetan government in-exile organised an awareness workshop to mark the World Hepatitis Day in Dharamsala. Hepatitis B is a viral infection that attacks the liver and is a prime cause for liver cancer. The virus is spread by contact with the blood or other bodily fluids of an infected person. The event was attended by students and staff members of Central Tibetan Administration (CTA). Over 50 injured in Barcelona train crash New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): Over 50 people were injured after a commuter train in Barcelona crashed on Friday, as it entered one of the city's main stations. The impact of the crash smashed the nose of the train and left it hanging off one side. More damage occurred between the train's first and second cars. The injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Some are even said to be critical. Authorities said that no deaths have been reported as of yet. 29-Jul-2017
CM Raje reviews developmental project vi Jaipur, July 28 (ANI): A novel initiative "Raj Vikas" has been started by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje to effectively resolve the problems related to various projects and common people via video conferencing. A second such meeting took place recently under her chairmanship at her office in Jaipur. Through video conferencing, the CM instructed the concerned departments to prepare a 'standard of procedure' so that important development projects in public interest like road construction, drinking water, irrigation can be completed in fixed time frame. She also said that from the time of DPR preparation, the process of obtaining all necessary clearances including forest, environment should start so that development projects should not get delayed. Madan Lal was born without hands but it didn't break his spirit. His family and villagers support him. Lal runs a small shop that helps him support his family financially. Lal, who also teaches students in schools and colleges, has become an inspiration for students and the youth. Lal has become an epitome of 'specially-abled' fighting the tag of being 'disabled'. Bezos' net worth is now $91.5 billion. He surpassed the previous title holder, Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist, Bill Gates. Gates' net worth is estimated at $90.1 billion. Economist Cary Leahey says it's paper money. Amazon's stock has surged more than 40 percent over the last year, adding tens of billions of dollars in wealth to Bezos.
