Death of 5-yr-old by UP Minister’s car | Gonda (Uttar Pradesh), Oct 31 (ANI): In the latest development in the death of a boy by cavalcade of Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar, police have seized the car and also arrested the minister’s driver. The incident took place on Saturday when Om Prakash Rajbhar was travelling in the car, which went on to hit the boy in Gonda. Furious over the child’s death, locals had staged a protest by placing the body on the road. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh for the boy’s family. Vegetable vendor with 45 golds in World | Hyderabad Oct 31 (ANI): A vegetable vendor named Jameel Khan has made a mark for himself in the field of martial arts as he has won several international medals, including 45 gold, 12 silver and 16 bronze medals, in the World Karate Championships over the last 12 years. Despite achieving success against various countries, including USA, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Malaysia, he has received no help from the state government so far. He aims to open an academy in the state but he has been struggling with his own financial crisis. MCD demolishes Delhi woman's makeshift s | New Delhi, Oct 31 (ANI): Pratima Devi, who takes care of almost 400 dogs, has alleged that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) razed her makeshift shelter for dogs. Devi said the MCD officials and Police came and asked her to vacate her make-shift dog shelter and threatened to run vehicles over her and her dogs if she refused to do so. Despite being a ragpicker, Pratima has been taking care of stray dogs in and around Delhi's Saket area for several years.
