Militants kill cop in J&K

Srinagar, Dec 31 (IBNS): A cop was killed after militants opened indiscriminate fire on police naka party in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday, officials said.

An official said that a policeman was critically injured after militants opened fire on a naka party in Handwara market.

He was shifted to a hospital where he passed away
