Narendra Modi meets Thailand PM in Singapore

Singapore City, Nov 14 (IBNS); Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Thailand PM General Prayut Chan-o-cha on Wednesday.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the EAS Summit.

The two leaders discussed issues related to cooperation in trade and investment, defence and security and connectivity, officials said.

MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted: "Stepping up engagements with a valued regional partner as part of Act East Policy.PM @narendramodi met PM of Thailand General Prayut Chan-o-cha @prayutofficial on sidelines of #EAS Summit. Cooperation in trade & investment, defence and security and connectivity were discussed."

Modi reached Singapore earlier in the day.
