New Delhi/UNI: Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union president Aishe Ghosh on Wednesday attended the anti-CAA and NRC protests outside the Jamia University, where she hit out at the government, alleging that what all was happening, somehow began with Kashmir, when the current dispensation interfered with the rights of the common man.

She said that one cannot forget Kashmir and the ones who are now fighting and the issue of the valley is also a part of every protest.

Ghosh was flanked by her supporters and other JNU students and addressed the protestors outside the Jamia University.

Recently, Ghosh was named among the nine suspects in the JNU violence incidents between Jan 1 and 5 by the Delhi Police's SIT, which is probing the matter.

Soon, she was named by the police as a suspect. Ghosh had denied the charges and said that police must come up with evidences which are concrete.

Meanwhile, the agitators continued to peacefully demonstrate at the Shaheen Bagh and on Wednesday, people followed their footsteps in Khureji area near Seelampur against the CAA and the NRC.

Following the Jan 5 violence at the JNU campus, Jamia students, along with other students, had come out on streets and protested against the police, whom they alleged of becoming a mute spectator when the JNU students faced violence in the campus.

A large group of students had gathered outside the Delhi Police Headquarters, agitating against the alleged inaction of the Delhi Police in the Jan 5 violence at the JNU campus, wherein a mob of masked goons attacked hostels, students and faculty members inside the varsity campus.
