New Delhi, Oct 1 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired his sixth meeting via PRAGATI (progress), the Information, Information, Technology (ICT)-based, multi-modal platform for pro-active governance and timely implementation. According to a government release, Modi took a stock of progress of key infrastructure projects in the railway, Metro rail, coal and iron ore mining, road, power, and aviation sectors across Indian states. Modi also reviewed progress of important Indian projects in Afghanistan including the work on parliament building and Salma Dam. Modi also pressed for speedy implementation of National Food Security Act, 2013 and Aadhar card- a Unique Identity (UID) initiative- across the country. PRAGATI uniquely bundles three latest technologies: digital data management, video-conferencing and geo-spatial technology. It has been designed to keep every complainant engaged with the government machinery at the highest level and to ensure systemic corrections through the redressal of the complaints.
