Bijapur, Oct 1 (ANI): A policeman was found murdered two days after he was abducted by Maoists in Chhattisgarh. The body of 31-year-old assistant constable Kudiyam Pandu was found on a road under Farsegarh police camp of Bijapur district, near the place from where he was kidnapped on Monday (September 28) when he was returning after attending the funeral of his mother-in-law. Sub-divisional police officer of central Kutra zone, Narendra Kumar Vental, said Pandu had last called from his in-laws'place. Reportedly, the Maoists did not abduct the two students and instead asked them to take away Pandu's motorcycle. Pandu's brother said he was long being targeted by the Maoists.
