Lalu clarifies statement on Dadri issue, says he was misquoted to divert the issue

Patna, Oct 03 (ANI): RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Saturday clarified his previous statement on beef issue over which the Dadri lynching incident took place. Yadav said that he has been misquoted to divert the issue from the main accusation. He said that BJP is spreading communalism. Lalu said that he stands by his statement that eating beef and non-veg causes diseases. Further attacking the BJP, Yadav said that he has 500 cows as pets and actually takes good care of them, whereas the BJP and RSS leaders who talk of cow protection own dogs as pets.
