Alok Ranjan takes charge as UP Chief Secretary

Lucknow, May 31 (ANI): The Akhilesh Yadav Government in Uttar Pradesh has on Saturday appointed Alok Ranjan as the new Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh replacing Javed Usmani. Assuming charge, Alok Ranjan said that even though there are a lot of problems in the state, there is a wide scope of development. Responding to the rise of crime in the state, Ranjan added that a message will be given out to criminals and they will be dealt with firmly.
