Bihar witnesses 53.32 per cent turnout in third phase

New Delhi, Oct 28 (ANI): Deputy Election Commissioner Umesh Sinha on Wednesday said that Bihar witnessed 53.32 percent electoral turnout in the third phase of assembly elections. He added that the polling was peaceful and few difficulties had emerged in the EVM machines which were timely addressed. Polling, which had begun at 7 a.m., concluded at 5 p.m. in 40 constituencies, while in the remaining 10 Naxal-affected seats, it ended at 4 p.m. Over one crore 45 lakh electorates will decide the electoral fate of 808 candidates, including 71 women.
