SIMI terrorist Abu Faisal sentenced to life imprisonment

Bhopal, Oct 31 (ANI): The SIMI (Students Islamic Movement of India) terrorist Abu Faisal has been sentenced to life imprisonment in connection with the case of shooting an ATS jawan in 2009. The case was brought for hearing at the district court in Bhopal on Saturday after which the sentence was announced. Lawyer Naresh Gupta said that Faisal’s attitude towards the verdict was normal and he did not raise any questions. Another accused in the case Mehtab has been given three years of imprisonment.
