New Delhi, June 26 (ANI): The decision by Maharashtra government to approve five percent reservation for Muslims in government jobs and educational institutions, with an eye on assembly elections, has drawn mixed reactions. Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan had said that the cabinet gave green signal to five percent reservation for Muslims, an attempt to retain power by the NCP government. Muslim cleric Maulana Khalid Rasheed Firangi Mahali on Thursday hailed the government's move.
