Kabul/IBNS: At least seven prisoners broke a jail in Afghanistan's Paktya area and fled away on Sunday evening, media reports said.

Abdullah Hasrat, a provincial spokesperson told Khaama Press that seven prisoners have fled from Pakitya’s central jail in Gardez city.

“Prisoners who fled from the jail had been convicted for different crimes”, Abdullah told the news agency.

It is still not clear how they managed to escape it.
