Pakistan: 27 militants killed

Islamabad, May 1 (IBNS): Security forces in Pakistan have killed 27 militants in the country's Khyber Agency areas in the past 24 hours, officials said.

"Marking a huge success in operation Khyber 2, Security Forces have captured Terrorists strong holds Sandapal, Tordara, Kundwala and Mehrban Killay in Khyber Agency. During last 24 hours intense fighting took place," Pakistan's ISPR said in a statement on Thursday.

"27 terrorists were killed. 5 soldiers including an officer captain Ajmal embraced Shahadat," it said.
